Rockford, IL –January 17, 2017 – MTE Hydraulics is pleased to announce its recent addition to its expanding team, Chad Nelson,  as a Sales Application Engineer.  Chad joins the MTE Hydraulics Team with over 26 years experience in the Fluid Power Industry in various roles at Concentric such as Warranty Manager, New Product Development Engineer, Applications Engineer.

MTE Hydraulics Promotes Technical Inside Sales Specialist Dave Garlick to Regional Sales Manager

Rockford, IL –October 31, 2016 – MTE Hydraulics is pleased to announce that Dave Garlick has been promoted to Regional Sales Manager.  Mr. Garlick was added to the MTE Hydraulics Team in June 2015 as an Inside Technical Specialist.  Prior to becoming an Inside Technical Specialist, Garlick completed a comprehensive MTE Technical Sales Training program which included working in several different departments within MTE: Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality, and Customer Service.

Prior to joining the MTE Hydraulics Team, Garlick earned a solid background with both internship and educational experience within the Fluid Power Industry. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and an Associates in Applied Science-Mechatronics as well as a Diploma in Professional Sales from Alexandria Technical & Community College in Alexandria, MN. Garlick completed three summer internships with experience in Customer Service/Inside Sales and Applications Engineering in the Fluid Power Industry.

According to MTE Hydraulics Vice President Bill Crossen, “MTE is very excited with the growth and depth of Fluid Power Technical knowledge that Dave utilized to solve application opportunities with our partner customers.  Dave has experience in manufacturing, assembly, customer service, and engineering at MTE Hydraulics as part of his customized training program.  This was a planned progression for Dave and we are excited to have him work more closely assisting our customers.  MTE has a goal of adding Technical Regional Sales Managers to our expanding Team, and Dave fits the MTE mold with his educational experience from Alexandria Technical College coupled with our custom training program.”

According to Garlick, “I am excited to become a MTE Regional Sales Manager so I can continue to use my education and experience to assist our customers.  The MTE Hydraulics Training program was an excellent fit for me after graduating from Wisconsin-Stout and Alexandria Technical College.  I was able to gain extensive experience in manufacturing MTE products, assembly, and working with our Engineering department to design and apply MTE products to maximize customer value. After spending a year supporting our Sales Staff as the Technical Inside Specialist, I was able to better prepare myself for my new role. ”

MTE Hydraulics adding to its Expanding Team-Technical Regional Sales Manager

MTE Hydraulics Launches a New Technical Internship Program

Rockford, IL – June 19st, 2016 – MTE Hydraulics is pleased to announce its recent hire of John Garlick.  John is the first intern to participate in MTE’s new Technical Internship Program.  According to MTE Hydraulics Vice President Bill Crossen, “MTE has experienced continued growth creating a need to identify and develop new talent to join our expanding team.  The MTE Hydraulics Technical Internship Program allows us to connect with the best and brightest future talent and potential team leaders.”

John brings with him ambition and the willingness to learn. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and will continue his education at Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prairie, MN. John plans on obtaining an Associates in Applied Science – Fluid Power Engineering Technician degree.

“I intend to apply my educational and internship experience as well as communication skills to help MTE grow as a company and to increase our presence in the Fluid Power Industry” he said.

While obtaining his Business Administration degree at UW-Stout, John got a good understanding on how businesses work and run efficiently. His internship at MTE will serve as a great first step into the Fluid Power Industry before he attends Hennepin Technical College.
