MTE Hydraulics Launches a New Technical Internship Program
Rockford, IL – June 19st, 2016 – MTE Hydraulics is pleased to announce its recent hire of John Garlick. John is the first intern to participate in MTE’s new Technical Internship Program. According to MTE Hydraulics Vice President Bill Crossen, “MTE has experienced continued growth creating a need to identify and develop new talent to join our expanding team. The MTE Hydraulics Technical Internship Program allows us to connect with the best and brightest future talent and potential team leaders.”
John brings with him ambition and the willingness to learn. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and will continue his education at Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prairie, MN. John plans on obtaining an Associates in Applied Science – Fluid Power Engineering Technician degree.
“I intend to apply my educational and internship experience as well as communication skills to help MTE grow as a company and to increase our presence in the Fluid Power Industry” he said.
While obtaining his Business Administration degree at UW-Stout, John got a good understanding on how businesses work and run efficiently. His internship at MTE will serve as a great first step into the Fluid Power Industry before he attends Hennepin Technical College.
